Description

We invite you to apply for the WES Mariam Assefa Fund’s Rapid Response Initiative, designed to support organizations addressing urgent community needs following the recent election. 

Eligibility Criteria: 

  • Organizations with an annual operating budget of $3 million or less.  

  • Active U.S. Mariam Assefa Fund grantees as of December 31, 2024.  

  • Engaged in priority efforts to respond to community needs and challenges post-election, including communications and information dissemination, community protection and solidarity organizing, rapid advocacy and lobbying, language access and interpretation services, and civic engagement and mobilization. 

Eligible organizations can apply for up to $20,000 in general operating support. The anticipated grant term is up to twelve (12) months.  

Applications may be submitted any time between now and Friday, February 14, 2025. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis, with awards issued every three weeks to ensure timely support.
