We invite you to apply for the WES Mariam Assefa Fund’s Rapid Response Initiative, designed to support organizations addressing urgent community needs following the recent election. This opportunity is specifically for local organizations actively engaged in advocacy work, and a subset of our current, active IMPRINT Coalition partners are eligible to apply. Eligible organizations must meet the following criteria:
Existing engagement with IMPRINT: The organization demonstrates active involvement with the IMPRINT Coalition.
Community Responsiveness: The organization has experience with advocacy, rapid response, or community organizing with grassroots partnerships and active engagement in post-election efforts.
Geographic Diversity: Geographic representation will be prioritized to support organizations across the U.S. that are supporting local communities directly.
Eligible organizations can apply for up to $20,000 in general operating support to help advance their rapid response capacity-strengthening efforts. The anticipated grant term is up to twelve (12) months.
Applications may be submitted by Friday, February 14, 2024. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis.
